Shabbat, Sep 13th 8:00p to 9:30p
Are you ready for the High Holidays? What does it mean to get ready anyhow? Selichot is the perfect time to start quieting our minds -- our work minds, our busy schedule minds, our worrying minds, our news-feed focused minds -- and reconnect with our inner selves. Join us for an evening of tranquil reflection, an evening of poetry and song that introduces us to the themes of the High Holidays. Selichot is the gateway to our prayers of repentance, forgiveness and renewal that mark both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We will also carry out the beautiful ritual of dressing the Torah scrolls in their white High Holiday best. Dessert Oneg to follow, provided by TBS Sisterhood. -
